TVN® Entertainment Corp., the world's largest television on demand company, today announced that they will partner with the nation's third largest operator, Cox Communications, to offer TVN's VOD network "The Karaoke Channel." Cox Digital Cable customers will have access to this service for free, anytime, in the On DEMAND menu. The network, which is a partnership between TVN and Stingray, is now one of the most widely distributed VOD channels, reaching over 27 million subscribers.

Two young Montrealers, Alexandre Taillefer and Eric Boyko, well known in the business community, are joining with Telesystem to create Stingray Digital Group Inc., an international company dedicated exclusively to digital media.
The company will acquire leaders in well-targeted digital media niches and will participate in managing their operations. "Given our experience in digital media, Stingray will do far more than purchase and manage a portfolio. We will manage the growth of the companies acquired by consolidating their sector of activity and creating synergies between them," says Eric Boyko.
